Rustins Damp Seal is a fast-drying, high-performance interior paint that permanently covers damp, water stains and most household stains.
It dries with a long-lasting permanent seal over damp walls and ceilings. It can be over coated with gloss, emulsion paint and wallpaper. Rustins Damp Seal does not cure damp but allows trapped moisture to escape.
Prior to application, the surface must be clean and free from dust, loose paint and fungal growth or solid matter likely to interfere with the penetration of the sealer. Rustins Damp Seal must be stirred well before use and two coats applied liberally, brushing out approximately 30cm beyond the affected area.
Drying time is 1-2 hours and two hours between re-coating in warm conditions. Allow two hours when applying a top coat or wallpaper.
Coverage is 7 sq.m per litre depending on the absorbency of the surface being treated. It can be over coated with most oil-based and water-based paints.
Rustins Damp Seal is sold in 250ml, 500ml and 1lt containers.
