Rustins Door Oil is a clear satin finish that is hard-wearing, water and stain-resistant that will dry to an attractive, durable, natural finish.
Suitable for use on internal woodwork subject to a high degree of wear such as doors, floors and balustrades. The oil brings out the natural beauty of the wood and makes wood colours become richer/warmer, leaving a hard-wearing, water and stain-resistant finish to woodwork.

During preparation, the wood must be bare, sanded clean, smooth, dry and free from wax, dust and surface contaminants.
Using a brush or roller, apply evenly in the direction of the grain. Rustins Wood Dye may be used under or in Rustins Door Oil if desired. Test before proceeding if other brands of the wood colourant are to be used.
Apply a minimum of two coats initially. Drying Time 4-6 hours depending on temperature and humidity. Wait 4 -6 hours before re-coating.
Coverage is 20-30sq.m. per litre, depending on the nature of the wood.
